Connecting your calendar ensures Arrange can schedule interviews instantly and accurately without any manual coordination. Arrange uses free/busy availability only β never event details β keeping everything private and secure.
This guide covers how to connect your calendar in both places where Arrange requires calendar access:
β Your Dashboard
β Arrange With Me
1. Why Connect Your Calendar?
Connecting your calendar enables Arrange to:
Read free/busy availability
Send invites automatically
Trigger interview confirmations instantly
Merge availability across multiple parties (Arrange Connect)
Power your personal scheduling link (Arrange With Me)
Allow you to choose which calendar the invite is sent from (paid plans)
No event titles or details are ever shared β only availability.
2. Calendar Connections on the Dashboard (Required for Scheduling Interviews)
You must first connect your calendar from your Dashboard so Arrange can support:
Candidate First
Client First
Matchmaker
Arrange Connect
Quick Arrange
Candidate Scheduling Links
Live Stage Tracker invite automation
To connect your calendar on the Dashboard:
Log in at app.arrangeai.io
On the main Dashboard, look for the Connect Calendar prompt
Select Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook
Approve the permission window
Once connected:
Arrange can read your free/busy availability
Automatic invites can be sent from the system
Arrange Connect can use your availability for multi-party matching
This is the primary calendar connection used for scheduling interviews inside the platform.
3. Calendar Connections for Arrange With Me
Even if you connected your calendar on the Dashboard, you must also connect it inside Arrange With Me if you want to use:
Your default scheduling link
Additional event types (paid plans)
Multi-calendar availability
Team-based scheduling via Arrange With Us
To connect your calendar inside Arrange With Me:
Go to Arrange With Me in the left menu
Click Edit on your default scheduling link (or any event type)
Under Calendar Settings, connect your calendar
Choose:
Which calendar to send invites from (paid plans)
Whether you want to combine availability across multiple calendars (paid plans)
This connection is separate from the Dashboard connection because Arrange With Me powers a different scheduling system (your personal booking page).
4. Supported Calendars
Arrange supports:
Google Calendar
Microsoft Outlook / Office 365
Both can be used for:
Automated interview scheduling
Personal and team scheduling links
Multi-calendar availability (paid plans)
5. Hiring Manager Calendar Connections (Clients)
For Arrange Connect, hiring managers must also connect their calendar.
How to request access:
Go to My Clients
Select a client
Add or open a hiring manager
Click Request Access
Hiring managers receive a branded email asking them to:
Set their preferred availability parameters
Connect their Google or Microsoft calendar
Once connected, you'll see Calendar Access: Connected.
Arrange can then combine the availability of multiple hiring managers into one unified view for the candidate.
6. Multi-Calendar Availability (Paid Plans)
On paid plans, you can:
Connect multiple calendars
Merge availability for more flexible booking
Choose which calendar sends the invite
Set different rules per event type
Perfect for users who manage personal + work calendars, shared calendars, or recruiting calendars.
7. Privacy & Security
Arrange only accesses:
Whether a time slot is free or busy
Arrange does not access:
Event names
Event descriptions
Locations
Attendees
Notes or attachments
This keeps your scheduling private and secure.
8. Troubleshooting Tips
If your calendar isnβt syncing:
Reconnect on the Dashboard
Reconnect inside Arrange With Me
Ensure your Google/Microsoft session is active
Check for blocked pop-ups
Try a different browser
If a hiring manager hasnβt connected:
Status shows Pending
Click Resend Access Request
Or copy the manual link from their profile
